Stop the Expansion at Woodland Pond in New Paltz, NY

WP is looking to build 81 apartments on 12 acres of sensitive land that is surrounded by wetlands and vernal pools for salamanders. They are seeking a height variance beyond the allowed zoning which is 30 feet or 2.5 stories. The tallest building exposure is 43 feet. Woodland Pond is looking to pay less taxes (PILOT). They are already putting a large burden on the New Paltz Rescue Squad and this will only get worse. And they are NOT including any affordable housing units!
